Since 1986, the Leadership Tyler Core Program has graduated over 800 emerging and established leaders committed to a life of community service. Leadership Tyler is an incredibly powerful program that helps participants develop skills critical for success in today’s professional environment, while equipping them to serve as pivotal leaders in our community. Leadership Tyler provides practical information and effective training from a wide range of experts to help each participant become a more well-rounded and confident leader in a variety of areas including: Leadership Tyler is a networking opportunity unlike any other. While learning together about our unique city and surrounding area, participants will forge lasting relationships with individuals from many of Tyler’s most prominent organizations. Leadership Tyler’s lasting legacy is its graduates – our alumni serve as policy-level community trustees, as elected and appointed officials, and as leaders in the private, public and non-profit sectors of the Smith County area. Applications for the core program are available each April and are due on June 1st of each year.
