Leadership Tyler Seeking New Executive Director

We are currently accepting applications for a new executive director following the resignation of Cindy Klein.

Klein, who has served Leadership Tyler since 2004, has accepted a position developing national business strategy for Mentoring Minds, a Tyler-based educational publisher focused on creating a successful learning environment for children.

“I am personally grateful to Cindy for her six years of service to Leadership Tyler — and our community — that revitalized and reorganized our whole program,” said Joan Andrews, current president of the Leadership Tyler board of directors. “While we are sad to see Cindy go, we are also excited for the opportunities the new position will offer her.”

Applicants for the position of executive director with Leadership Tyler can e-mail a resume to info@leadershiptyler.org. Qualifications for the position include a four-year degree, communication and presentation skills, organizational leadership experience, entrepreneurial mindset and attention to detail.

“My work with Mentoring Minds through Leadership Tyler actually led to my new role with the company,” said Klein. “While working with LT has absolutely been one of most rewarding experiences of my life, I look forward to serving another mission-driven organization using the principles I learned through Leadership Tyler.”

Brian Brandt, past president of Leadership Tyler, said the organization is very appreciative to Klein for her “outstanding oversight” which has contributed to the group’s growth. “While we will miss Cindy very much, we know she has helped lay the groundwork for an organization that will continue to be a driving force in Tyler’s future for decades to come.”

Do you know that key relationships have been specifically placed to help you in ways you never imagined? Do you realize there are special people who are not just happenstance acquaintances but strategic relationships to help you find the life of your dream? Have you missed the simplicity behind this mysterious thing called DESTINY? Perhaps the real problem of finding your dream isn't about who you don't know, but whom you've neglected.

In THE POWER OF WHO! Bob Beaudine presents a revolutionary concept that will get you moving toward your dreams and goals in ways you never imagined. This book challenges many widely held presumptions, including the importance of traditional networking. Instead he offers a different plan -- a time-tested, unique approach.

First Beaudine leads you to identify people within your group of friends and friends of friends who are the foundation for making connections. Then he takes you through what you want to accomplish in life and encourages you to dare to dream, to DREAM BIG!
